Welcome to Keno. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
Keno is intended for current university students. You must register with a valid university email address and be at least 16 years old to use the app.
You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up — impersonating someone else or creating a fake identity isn't allowed.
When using Keno, you agree not to:
We use automated content filtering and user reports to help enforce these rules, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate them.
You retain ownership of the content you create (event listings, photos, messages, comments). By posting it, you grant Keno a license to display and distribute that content within the app as intended by its features (e.g. showing your event to other users, delivering your messages to their recipients).
You're solely responsible for the content you post. Keno does not pre-screen content and is not responsible for what users post, though we will act on reports and violations of these terms.
Keno is a platform for discovering and organizing events — we are not a party to any event, and we don't guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of events created by users. Attend events at your own discretion and judgment. If an event seems unsafe, inappropriate, or fraudulent, report it in the app.
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these terms, use the in-app report feature. We review reports and may remove content, warn users, or suspend/terminate accounts at our discretion.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a risk to other users, with or without notice depending on severity.
Keno is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, Keno and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including damages related to events you attend or interactions with other users.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you in the app where appropriate. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
